Bringing clarity to home buying.
Helping you build the cozy home life you’ve dreamed of.
The Early Years…
Growing up, I thought there was nothing I couldn’t learn from a book. Reading was my personality (still is) and studying was a game. My desire to learn and fix things lead me to not one, but TWO engineering degrees and the feeling that I was doing everything “right”. I’d mapped out a career and a life and I had a plan. And what has ever gone wrong with planning out the future?
My engineering career is what led me to Colorado in 2016. Degree, check. Career, check. Next on the list was buying a home. Cost of living was obviously higher here than my home state of Florida, but worth it for the mountains and seasons and significant reduction in reptiles. Just a couple extra years saving but then I’d buy a home and the plan would be back on track.
So in preparation for that, I started obsessing over how to buy a home, what it would cost, what I needed to save and to earn, etc. If you know any engineers, you know we’re detail oriented. So if I don’t know the source of your numbers, your "facts” are useless to me. And when I started planning out the finances of owning a home, it was incredibly hard to find data I trusted. More than that, it was hard to find consistent data I understood.
So eventually I decided to get my real estate license and learn the foundation myself. Getting a whole real estate license just so you can get better data is a very normal choice, right?
Where we are now
In the process of earning my real estate license, I learned so much about homes that astounded and fascinated me. I also learned how to find actual pricing data and figure out for myself what everything would cost. I soaked it up and basked in this new set of information. And decided to do something with it.
I started working as a Real Estate Broker in 2019. It was evident to me that the world of real estate wasn’t confusing to just me. Not only is there too much misinformation, but even most of the good information was provided in a format that just didn’t speak to me. My engineering brain craves organized details, with no hand waiving.
And there just aren’t many technical people that go in to real estate.
So I’ve made it my mission to educate others like me. Those who want too many details and google every new word. Those whose parents had to limit how many questions they asked in a day. And those who crave to understand fundamentals.
I absolutely love working with real people and solving problems. I’m your resource for every question, basic or complex. If something doesn’t make sense, even if you’re just curious, reach out to me and I will help you find an answer! And if you decide to work with me, I can guarantee I will make the process smooth and walk you through every step.
